# NAVIX Acceptable Use Policy
The North American Virtual Internet Exchange (NAVIX) is intended to be an educational and experimental service. NAVIX is designed for individual, personal use only and as such is subject to the following policy on Acceptable Use
## Allowed Use
Participants may use NAVIX to:
- Learn and experiment with IPv6, BGP routing, and network operations.
- Operate personal or non-commercial services.
- Host publicly accessible IPv6 services.
- Participate in peering and routing education.
## Prohibited Use
The following activities are strictly prohibited.
- Sending unsolicited bulk email.
- Conducting or participating in DDoS attacks.
- Traffic amplification or reflection attacks.
- IP spoofing or forging of source addresses.
- Providing transit or reselling NAVIX connectivity.
- Hosting illegal content or engaging in unlawful activity.
- Any other activity that may harm NAVIX infrastructure or its upstream providers.
## Routing Restrictions
NAVIX reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate connectivity at any time.
- Null-route or withdraw prefixes.
- Remove participants without prior notices in cases of abuse.
## Responsibility
Participants are solely responsible for securing and monitoring their own systems, and respond to abuse complaints in a timely manner.
## Agreement
By participating in NAVIX, users agree to abide by this and all other NAVIX policies.
